Ten shades of grey.

About Me

I'm 23. I'm a student at UW-Whitewater finishing up my psychology degree with a criminal justice minor. The eventual plan is to complete my Psy.D. (like a Ph.D. with a counseling focus). I think the stigma of mental illness is now what AIDs was in the 80's. I've been married for 3 years to my better half (who happens to be a police officer; always makes life interesting). I like people that don't try too hard. I'm a moderate conservative. I'm finding myself spiritually. I'm probably quirky and always anxious. I'm empathetic. I have the Gaelic word for "serenity" tattooed on the inside of my left wrist (it looks like pink Sharpie though). I love Starbucks, Mexican food, pedicures, and pink and white manicures. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 ferrets. I'm best described as an "Irish Pisces". I dislike that socializing as a rule is centered around alcohol. And I have a real life zombie phobia.

My Interests

snowboarding, STARBUCKS, airsoft, reading, hiking, camping, policewives.org, tabletop gaming, Paint Shop Pro, B&W photography; I collect frog stuff, moose stuff, coffee cups and magnets.

I'd like to meet:

"Alas, poor Yorick. I knew him, Horatio."

I told a coworker that I feel guilty about not going to my husband's first "law enforcement" funeral. Her response was "You didn't know him well anyway." No, I didn't know Dale. But those of us that ...

Dogs on the lam

We aren't perfect pet owners. We have several dogs, including an evil maniacal terrier that occasionally slips out the door on us. However, we are immediately after her until we catch her. There is n...

I think shows like Farmer Wants a Wife make a mockery of marriage

I think shows like Farmer Wants a Wife make a mockery of marriage. Relationships are hard enough and the divorce rate is skyrocketing. People don't want monogamy yet they want huge, elaborate parties...
