About Me

I am very happily married to the love of my life with 2 adorable kids. I was born and raised in South Louisisana, but currently live in Northern Virginia - outside of Washington, DC. My husband and family are the most important things in my life.

I am running my 3rd Disney World Marathon Weekend in Jan 2009 - 5K on Friday, half marathon on Saturday and full marathon on Sunday - folks that is 42.4 miles in 3 days.

I am an avid sports fan - I am a die-hard Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and LSU fan. I play golf as much as humanly possible.

My Interests

My hubby and kids are my life. Playing golf, running, computer gaming, weight lifting, writing, cooking, watching sports, and web designing occupy my free time.

I love to travel. One of my favorite place I have visited is Canterbuy UK. It is a beautiful and enchanting place. I spent a few weeks there with my hubby - some of the best times we've spent together. Japan was very interesting with beautiful waters. I love New England - its such an amazing area. Boston is definitely one of my favorite cities. GO RED SOX!!!

I'd like to meet:

I am here hanging out with friends, would love to find old friends and maybe make new ones.

Music:

Anyone looking at my music collection would be very confused... Mozart to Johnny Cash to Matchbox to Motley Crue to Blink 182, Jack Johnson... its all there.

Movies:

This one is for Jim - OUTBREAK baby or maybe Reign of Fire??? I absolutely loved Forrest Gump and Rain Man. I think some of the best movies ever made were for kids - Shrek, Harry Potter series, Narnia, etc. Other movies I have enjoyed include Cinderella Man, War of the Worlds, etc. Then there is a movie made with so much passion - like no other. Television:

I watch very little TV. The only channels I tune into besides Nick Jr. and ESPN are The History Channel, Golf Channel, Discovery, National Geographic, CNN, etc. I rather spend the time I would waste away reading, cooking, or playing with my kids (or hubby ;-)

Books:

Right now on my bookshelf - Running for Women, Eating for Beauty, Fast Track Detox Diet Book, Ancient Egyptian Civilization, Kings and Queens of England, The Golf Swing, How I Play Golf by Tiger Woods, Marathon Training, Strength Training

Heroes:

My dearest husband.... for all the reasons in the world - for the unconditional love he shows to me and always being there.

My son James is my absolute superhero. He manages to put the grandest smile on my face - no matter what. He is my ultimate hero.

My daddy - the man who taught me soooo much about life. My 2nd family - Susan, Jessie and Corey- who I look up to everyday of my life. Although every day she struggles with MS she will never ever let it beat her. I love you and miss you Nanny. Paran has given his whole life to anyone that needs it -putting his family and so many other things before himself and Corey J who has been the lil brother I never had. Love to you all.
