Jakk Damage is:
T.K. Damage: guitars and vocals
Tim Snow: Drums
Jay Giangualano: Bass and backing vox
Arising from beneath the mire of the musical wastelands, emerged an innovative musical act from Southern Ontario named JAKK DAMAGE. Fuelled by a bizarre mixture of Hard-core metal and bluesy rock, the sound meshes together like driving a Harley into a Mac truck at very high speed. JAKK DAMAGE's primary objective is to establish a covalent musical bond between musician and listener by confronting this world head on with brutal honesty and truth, still leaving plenty of time to just get damaged. Loud, low-tuned, abrasive guitar grooves and pounding drum beats, bathe frenzied lyrics that hit you in the face, while still taking time to blaze a guitar solo at every turn. Unleashed, the music has evolved into the dangerous machine known as JAKK DAMAGE
This "experience" started as a solo project for T.K. Damage since 2005 and through a few lineup changes has found the solid members Jakk Damage needed. The musicians that have left in a way helped with the development of the sound and they are still good friends and will always be. Tim Snow has been behind the kit on stage since the very first show. Bass position has changed from time to time, the latest member on bass is Jay Giangualano. This musical power trio has been forging ahead and although hit some roadblocks, powered through with Damaging force and seems unstoppable.
Jakk Damage has shared the stage with a very diverse lineup of bands ranging from top 40 types such as Die Mannequin and Bobnoxious to down and dirty rock bands that just play to rock. They have been on stages like the Wax to the El Macambo to a barn and the middle of a field. Jakk’s motto is 5 or 500 people we play the same, get on, DAMAGE and get off. This is not a job, it is not a thrill, it is what we bleed.
With the self-produced release of Born in Fire under JD’s belt, Jakk toured in support of their Southern metal styled rock until they evolved into a straight up metal machine. Now focusing on all new material, somewhere between Metallica and Motorhead still with their own mixture of modern metal and old school metal molded into a new breed of Damage, Some of the most Dynamic and powerful music ever to emerge from T.K.’s mind and fingers. Future plans are to get the new tracks recorded and out to the masses. Videos are set to be filmed, and of course play every stage they can “Damageâ€. This band is very serious and driven to succeed, anyone who thinks otherwise is sadly mistaken. There is definitely something different about Jakk Damage and it is one lucky company that helps the world get Damaged.

Last Friday Molly Blooms patrons were treated to an onslaught of metal which left us all in mid air. The evening began with Jakk Damage who is one serious ass kicker of a band. From their opening chords to the sweaty finish everyone was mesmerized by each member of the band as they all gave us something to watch with their performances. Members T.K. Damage- vocals/guitar, Snowman- drums and Jay Giangualano-bass are worth a look so check their myspace:
