Borrowed Time Band

The Borrowed time Band was formed in 2005 in Spotsylvania Va. And was started as a four piece band with Bassist Dale Stopher, Guitarist Bill Lamkin, Vocalist Dennis Newton, and Drummer Glenn Wilson, Over the past year the band has made a few changes to the line up. They have added a new Drummer Cecil Vandergrift, and, most recently, Guitarist Rik Lawhorne to complete the line-up. All are highly experienced players with a lifetime of great music that they bring to the band. In just over a couple of year’s the band has proven to be a “musical force”, rising through the club ranks and gaining a reputation for hard hitting, good-time entertainment. It was only natural that club owners, who knew a great band when they heard it, began booking the band. Borrowed Time is now a five piece band that plays high-energy, danceable country, classic rock, southern rock, rhythm & blues, and funk with devastating power and commitment that audiences simply can’t forget. In the year 2007 Borrowed Time was an opening act for touring Black Cash Band at Hard Times Café in Fredericksburg Va. The Borrowed Time band is driven by high powered vocals and soaring melodies packed into highly stylized arrangements that leave the audience wanting more. As for musicianship, the band boasts a veteran rhythm section that brings out the best of the classic guitars that rock this band's exciting stage show.
