About Me
I first became interested in DJing around 2003, when I moved to Rio de Janeiro, where I had the privilege to meet some of the most promissing DJs and electronic music producers of the city, which really made me look from a different angle at the whole electronic/clubbing scene.
Being a long time music lover, it wasn't difficult for me to submerge in the spiral of events and tendencies that were starting to shake the eletronica scenario, and I started to listen to a lot of tech house and minimal techno, as well as reggae and soul/funk stuff... anyway every night I was there, dancing next to a speaker.
At first I started to play in bars, private parties and kinky afters hours, but before I knew it, I was playing in this awesome festival called SATORI, and soon began to be invited to play at some cool places, so I started to travel all over Brazil looking for the best chances a young DJ could have.
S. Paulo, BrasÃlia, Belo Horizonte, Goiânia, Trancoso, S.Luiz... from parties like OVNI (df) and Cachoeira Alta Festival(mg), to clubs like Pista 3 (rj), Major Locke (mg) or Para-RaÃo (ba) I guess I'm lucky to say that they all were amazing experiences that taught me a whole lot.
These days I'm living in sunny Lisbon (pt), here I run (along side with SRG) a little but honorable agency called STRIPP MUSIC, where we promote parties and develop the work of some really fine artists.
For the last couple of years that I've been living on this side of the ocean, I was invited to play at some impressive places - like Tuatara, Op art, Club Souk, Crew Hassan, Kubik...it's has been a lot of fun, as usual.
My influences are too many to waste time enumerating them, and I don't like to rotulate the kind of music I play... But I could say that usually I get the impression that my audience understands what I'm doing, and I always try to be the most attencious to their moods. Anyway, it's all about dancing, and I like to keep that on mind while djing...
