Channel 101

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Channel 101 is a monthly screening of 5-minute TV shows held at Cinespace in Hollywood. It is a living, autonomous, untelevised TV network, powered not by the promise of reward to the artist, but by the artist's desire to reward the audience. Channel 101 artists are do-it-yourselfers driven not by profit or prestige, but the sheer joy of creating. Like many things that nobody makes money off of, Channel 101 also lives on the Internet.
http://www.channel101.com
For the audiences that attend the live screenings, Channel 101 is a chance to sit in the worn-out chair of the fat network exec, drunk on the blood of lowly artists whose right to exist is given in exchange for their ability to nourish. 10 shows will screen, and based on audience votes, only 5 shows will return.
If you've ever seen any of the following so-called "viral videos" on Youtube (or elsewhere):
Yacht Rock
House of Cosbys
Planet Unicorn
Stop It
Chad Vader
The 'Bu
Kicked In the Nuts
...then you've seen shows that were originally created for Channel 101.
