I started this project as Rotten Sperm back in Spring 2007, with the only goal to create the most stupid and useless "music" ever, with demential gore and humorous themes. However, It still remained some kind of idiot Noise Grind, boosted by my worst skills on guitar and randomly conceived songs. After having published some craps all around the world, in march 2008, I finally had a seven months break in which I did nothing but thought about the "music" I created and so on. I was not satisfied at all, and what seemed to be a funny joke when I started, now apperead to me as the ultimate waste of time. Late in the autumn of the same year, I started doing something different, competely changing my stile to a Dark Ambient/Noise/Droning thing, genres that I've been loving for a quite long time and that I felt as belonging to me far more than the previous Noise Grind. The project still was called Rotten Sperm: it's in the first months of 2009 that I started thinking about changing my name into something which reflects the content of my songs. So "Death Simple" was born. For everything's mean, useless and ridicolous.
Il progetto nasce con il nome di Rotten Sperm nella Primavera del 2007, con l'obbiettivo di creare la più stupida e insensata proposta musicale di sempre,con tematiche demenziali improntate sul Gore e sull'umorismo. In ogni caso, la proposta era un Noise Grind idiota retto in piedi dalle mie pessime capacità alla chitarra e da canzoni composte a caso. Dopo avere pubblicato un po' di stronzate in giro per il mondo, nel Marzo 2008, ho alla fine preso una pausa di sette mesi durante la quale non ho fatto altro che pensare a dove stesse andando il mio progetto. Non ero per nulla soddisfatto della strada che aveva intrapreso e quello che all'inizio mi sembrava solo uno scherzo divertente, ora mi appariva come la più grande perdita di tempo. Più avanti, nell'autunno dello stesso anno, ho iniziato a fare qualcosa di diverso, cambiando completamente il mio stile verso un Dark Ambient/Noise/Drone, generi che amo da diverso tempo e che sentivo molto più consoni a me che non il precedente Noise Grind. Il progetto manteneva ancora il nome di Rotten Sperm, ma nei primi mesi del 2009 ho iniziato a pensare di cambiare il suo nome in qualcosa che maggiormente rifletta la natura delle canzoni. Così è nato Death Simple. Perchè tutto è squallido, ridicolo ed inutile.
