About Me

I was born on December 19, 1985 at 127 43rd st. in Newport Beach, CA on the Balboa Peninsula where I lived pretty much most of my childhood. I went to both Newport Elementary School and Ensign Intermediate School and after my eighth grade year my Mother decided she wanted to leave crowded Southern California and moved completely across the country to a little town called Pinehurst in the state of North Carolina. I decided to go with her because I thought it would be a new experience and it was. I went to Pinecrest High School in nearby Southern Pines and since I wasn't really involved in the school through clubs and athletics, it was really hard for me to make friends. I was on the golf team at Pinecrest and I did get involved in the International Baccalaureate diploma (IB) program my junior year. IB is like the AP program on a global scale. I went through the program but unfortuately I did not get the IB diploma, but it left good groundwork for college. After getting rejected from UCI, UCLA, and UCSD, I still wanted to come back to sunny Southern California so I applied to Orange Coast College and that's where I am today. When I first applied, I decided to become a chemistry major because I was so good at it in high school and I really enjoyed it. After taking my first collegiate chemistry class and seeing what other classes I needed to transfer, I decided to change my major to business. Also at OCC, I got involved in one of the most intense sports I have ever experienced. The OCC rowing crew. You have to admit, golf isn't the ideal background for jumping into a sport like crew. My first year on crew was pretty much to get me into better shape for the next year. I competed in an unofficial capacity once last year in 2005 and never competed after that for the rest of the year. That summer, I worked my ass off with 2 time olympic medalist Xeno Muller and I came back this year in 2006 with a renewed vigor and ended up winning not only the Western championships, but the national championships. If it wasn't for the faith of my fellow oarsmen in me, I probably wouldn't have returned in 2006. I later graduated from OCC with my Associates Degree and am currently transfered to UCSD. Right now, my 2 main focuses are school and crew. My record with girls is better than it was. I met a girl that was really great, unfortunately, the timing was not the best with me going to San Diego and her remaining in Orange County. Hopefully I can meet a girl that I can spend the rest of my life with before i'm 30 :P. Hopefully I haven't bored you with this rambling about my life. Enjoy life and take care of yourself.
