I am a photorealist painter living and working in London, UK. I paint from my own photography. I am fascinated by the human figure, movement, light and the small mannerisms we all have but may not be aware of. I am not interested in 'traditional' portraiture but look to capture the essence of the individual when they are unaware of observation.

As my work is figurative, I sometimes need a model (male or female) to pose for a particular painting I have in mind. I then take photographs and paint referring to them.
