Christopher Ryan A.K.A. "Saint Chris" was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and grew up back and forth between Lake Charles, Sulphur, Shreveport, Baton Rouge, LA, Baltimore, MD, Lexington, KY, and Cleveland, OH. This is what explains his versatility when it comes to style and flow. He started spitting at age 16 and is now considered a veteran who takes his craft very seriously. He has seen plenty of things to encourage the street formated poetry that is heard in all of his tracks. It took him many years to perfect his craft but he finally got it right around the time he joined the U.S. NAVY, inwhich he deeply regrets, and the real debate began. He had to place himself a notch above the rest because.... in this game he was imprisoned by his own skin color on both ends of the spectrum, but Saint's star shines bright because he always "keeps it real". When he joined the military he was forced to move from Louisiana to Newport News, Virginia and he's been on the grind ever since. Saint C started to realize his potential in contributing to the rap game and actually began pursuing a career in the music industry. At first he was climbing the ranks in battles, live or on Letsbeef.com. Then he started dropping mixtape after mixtape and was destroying any competition on the underground market when it comes to style, flow, and definately substance. He met Rebecca Velez from Ponce, PR and they soon developed a strong relationship, despite ups and downs that they still sometimes endured, they got married in '06 and had a beautiful girl named Alyssa Brynn in July '07. He is also learing film and plans on taking film school classes sometime in the future.Saint Chris is now trying to acheive success on a little more mainstream level, he loves battling and he loves mixtapes, but he had to figure out a way to reach a more vast audience. He has even stepped his game up in the sense that whatever u hear is all free... No paper, Saint just closes his eyes, approaches the mic, and spits it from the heart... Due to personal issues, he put his first studio LP Trilluminati on hold, and it seems destined to be the "Underground" Detox because it's been due for release for 7 years!!! At the moment, he is currently Executive Producing and Performing in his organization The OwtFiT's debut album "HerbNmusiC". It will definately be cherished as a classic by any hip hop head that listens to it. It's recongnizable, it's street, it's club, and it's art in the purest form. Saint Chris plans to be remembered and will definately find his nest in the tree of hip hop. So, prepare for the storm or evacuate, and in the meantime, enjoy these songs.
