Geshe Sangye

I am here for Friends

About Me

Hello, my name is Geshe Sangye. I am a Tibetan Monk originating from Tibet, specifically Ki Gompa, about 15 km west of Kaza. The Gompa is more than 1,000 years old and belongs to the West Tibetan Kingdom of Guge and belongs to the religious Order of the Gelug-Pa. You can see a picture of my monastery in the pictures section. I have been there for 23 years. From time to time I travel to the west- and have been to America twice.I frequently travel and teach about the essence of Buddhism- including philosophy and doctrine, but mostly I like to talk to people about the meaning of life, and what it means to have a spiritual life, and to have peace of soul and mind.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

You!
