Hello Harlanites and other visitors and welcome to the longest standing professional tattoo shop in the county (over 9 years) and actually one of only 2 true professionals with all the health department certifications required. When looking for an artist always ask for a health department inspection report this will let you know that a professional inspector has looked over every inch of every needle, forcept, tube, chair, floor, etc. and believe me they are picky I lost 3 points last year for wearing shorts(lol)!(for real!) We have our inspection posted in the shop for all to see and its a 98 this year (i wore pants instead of shorts!) just in case your wondering but the do not print the big letter grades for tattoo shops like they do restuarants. ohhh well! (BUT I WISH I COULD POST MY BIG A) Please do not be fooled by people claiming to be certified without a shop! The shop is what the certification is for! But thats up to you but be safe and demand to see all equipment opened in front of you before tattooing or piercing. An autoclave is the only way to properly sterilize equipment so dont let uncle bubba hold a match to the needle he just used! But like I said its all up too you where you go we would love to have your Biz but if you decide on another shop thats fine there are a lot of great artists out there!
