Ive been playing guitar and bass for 25 years.
my personal focus in my own time is that of a writer/co-writer..so if you would like to co-write please let me know!
in the meantime..all the rhythm and lead guitars and bass on these songs have been played by me.if you click through them you will hear different genres of music.i am also the writer, arranger and producer of these songs

i have written songs in a 'youth pop' style for Aqua's management company.
as a producer/remixer i did a remix of a 'just jack' track recently (he had a top 3 single in 2007)

Dave Ruffy (Waterboys, Sinead o connor, Kirsty mccoll) , Andy Hobson (Pretenders), Russell Gilbrook (Van Morrison, Tony Iommi, Uriah Heep), Pete Saunders (Dexy's midnight runners), Wurzel (Motorhead) and countless others.
Producers and artists have been very complimentary about my playing (such as when I stood in for Dominic Miller who is Sting's guitarist) on recording sessions
As a pointer to my standard-on the back of a session I did I was offered an audition for the Aztec Camera ‘love’ tour (when they had ‘Somewhere in my heart’ as a hit) but I had prior commitments and was unable to attend.
I have extensive gig experience in many original and covers (and tribute) bands.i have no preference to what kind of 'gig' i take on-as long as im working im happy! i have played many festivals such as download etc to thousands so crowds do not phase me(most recently i played 'trentham gardens' festival to 7000 people in november 2007).i played to 3500 people in april 2008 with ms lynch (keavy and edele from b*witched who had 4 uk number one's!) on the same bill as E17. in may 2008 i played to 7000 people with the Kaiser thiefs and ded hot chili peppers at glastonbudget.co.uk. aug 2008 i played to 8000 people at mathew street festival liverpool with Kaiser thiefs and Blurb. i am playing at glastonbudget and mathew street festival again in 2009.

I have played entire 2 hour sets with no rehearsals.
the audience were unaware I was a ‘dep’ until it was announced near the end.
I have played entire sets in various tribute bands including Chilli Peppers, ac/dc, Abba, queen,blur,kaiser chiefs,blondie,pink, oasis...
I have an extensive knowledge of genres such as motown, rock-and the ‘usual suspects’ (yes I know ‘Brown eyed girl’!) and have played entire covers gigs based on a 3 minute run through of the setlist over the phone!
