Video Update (April 9th)
This is the official myspace of the Los Angeles Dream Center! Here, you will find information about the Dream Center and how YOU can get involved, as well as all upcoming events and information!
The Mission

The Dream Center is a non-profit outreach dedicated to implement programs that meet the needs, help the hurts, and solve the problems of the inner-city by developing new and creative methods to communicate a positive message to those who would otherwise never hear it. Made up of many races, nationalities, and cultures, the Dream Center has an open door policy, operating twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year!
We strive to help solve moral decay, crime, drug, gang, homelessness, and poverty epidemics that exist in our nations inner-cities. The vision of The Dream Center is to see thousands of hurting people come to know a new life through the efforts of our staff, volunteers, and recently rehabilitated individuals whose lives have been dramatically changed. We work to partner with people all around the world to reach the lost and help meet the communities needs, both great and small!

The Effect

With over 150 active ministries reaching out at all times of the day and night, thousands of hurting people in Los Angeles now have a way of hope.
Listed below are just a FEW of the ministries that have had tremendous impact on the city of Los Angeles. In the first four years of the Dream Center's establishment, prostitution and gang violence dropped 73%, the homicide rate dropped 28%, and rape dropped 53%! The mayor and City Council have publicly acknowledged the dramatic impact of the Dream Center, and in 1998, President Bush visited the Dream Center and deemed it as "a model for faith-based organizations."
Our Mobile Food Trucks serve about 3 tons of food each week to starving families in impoverished neighborhoods, feeding approximately 22,000 people every month!
Through the Adopt-A-Block program, over 600 volunteers rally together every Saturday morning to reach 30,000 people with practical acts of servanthood and kindness. Because of its consistency, relationships have been built and now over 1,500 people from all over the city are brought to church for each service via the bus ministry!
Whether outside a high school in Santa Monica at 3:00 p.m. or walking down Sunset Blvd at 3:00 a.m., Hope for Homeless Youth reaches out with its 30 outreaches that take place each week to over 2,000 hurting young people that live on the streets and in abandoned builings all over the city!
Every afternoon, you can hear fun songs and games, both in English and Spanish, at any Metro Kidz location around the city. Over 3,000 kids are loved on and taught about Christ each month!
Today, the work of the Dream Center is spreading rapidly across the country and throughout the world! Beyond the thousands of lives being affected by the 130 Dream Centers that are now across the country, thousands are being reached internationally through Dream Centers in Canada, Sweden, Australia, exc!
