I always had my life planned out perfectly. I knew exactly what the next step looked like, until Nashville. I love living not knowing where I might be next year, yet knowing that wherever I am, I'll be in the middle of my destiny. I used to dream about being a singer or a WNBA player, but I really just want to be a wife and mother. I have vision to see the inner city revitalized and I know that the next leaders of our nations are there waiting to be trained, loved, and raised up. I love my family so much and would choose to hang out with them any day. There are times I realize that growing up with three brothers made me "one of the boys" and that things that should disgust me don't....but I'm working on that.Basketball has been my focus and outlet all of my life, until now. It's hard to be completely done with a season of your life and to recognize that it will never be the same; yet exciting because I now live with no expectation except that God will surprise me and each day is a new one. I really want to travel and live in South Africa, at least for a year or so. New York is my favorite (Rachel and Erin you're the best!), as well as Jacksonville (sometimes I get homesick for it and I've never lived there!) and LA is close behind. Friendships mean the world to me. I sometimes cry at sad movies, or laugh when it's inappropriate. I don't like being religious. My favorite times in life have been just kicking it with friends with no schedule to follow. It frustrates me to see people barely dream above their own vision and scares me to think of living a life like that. I want nothing less than everything God has for me and I will not settle for second best. His promises are too great for that. Children are my passion and talking to them is one of my favorite things ever. I love daisies and roses and meaningful surprises completely make my day. Ultimately, I wouldn't change a thing about my life or the way it's moving. There is contentment in the seemingly unknown and peace in the direction of God's hand on my life. I love it.
