Carolina Risin' is a four piece band that consists of Kim Dover on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Roger Connors on electric lead guitar and splitting duties with Kim on lead vocals. And on the Bass guitar the man that everyone knows as Stringer...He don't sing, He just gets down with it..and that leaves us with the man with only one name , Bondo, behind the drums and also sings alot of back up.He makes it sound so good.
Gary Queen Jr. is a co-writer for the band.His songs come straight for the heart and everyday living.. As a band, Carolina Risin' delivers a night of music that will make you remember the good times, the bad times, and even the times you thought you were to drunk to remember. With a song list ranging from Hank Jr., Johnny Cash, and Merle Haggard to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughn, and a lot of originals; Carolina Risin' is bound to play at least one song that brings back joy or tears to your eyes. The band blends outlaw country, southern rock, and good ol fashioned rock n roll together to create a show suited for rednecks, hippies, bikers, and cowboys alike. So, wheather you're riding a Harley or a horse, a rusted truck or a spray painted van just kick back and drink a cold beer or a warm shot of whiskey (if you're like me then maybe both) and enjoy the musical roller coaster known as Carolina Risin'.
