Unfortunately the Coming Up Birmingham blog (link above) will no longer be providing weekly listings for music events around the Birmingham area.
However, there is some good news.
I'm involved in a project that can help artists, bands, producers, djs, promoters venues, labels, groups, society's and anything else music related get some extra exposure with what they're doing.
One of these projects involves a new community radio station based in Birmingham.
The station already has a number of really good shows covering all styles of music, and over the next year it will be making a big impact on local music with its coverage of live events.
The station also will be going through some major changes during the year, so expect an already good station to be a great station by the end of 2009.

The blog will remain as a resource for Birmingham based music events, where you’ll find links to promoters, artists and other resources all set out under various music categories.
