Loedie Domond was born on March 23rd, 1986 in the city of Montreal
Daugther of an haïtian musician, she was exposed to a plethora of musical genres. A songwriter-composer from an early age, she has been transcending her sultry and soulful voice with her fierce temper an emotional heart. Over time she will gain admiration for artists such as Whitney Houston and, french singer, Lara Fabian. The houng songstress will win the ‘’Best song interpretation’’ at her High school, in 2003, singing the french hymn ’’Quand les hommes vivront d’amour’’. She will be casted in the popular Montreal-based ‘’Jireh Gospel Choir’’ as a soloist and wil participate at the ‘’Montreux Jass Festival’’ in Switzerland in July 2004.
On August 2005, she assisted choir director, Carol Bernard, in France for the Gospel Europa Cantate for the European Federation of Young choirs of France. Over the years, her interest will grow for writing, her love for rock, jazz and soul music will mature and she will study the likes of Jill Scott. Loedie participated in many musical endeavors such as french compilations ‘’Es-tu prêt pour celui qui est vrai Vol. 2’’ from Collabo Records with her own work ‘’Est-ce que tu feel’’ Under the musical direction of Mr. Pierre-Luc Janvier.
On November 2005, she had the opportunity of recording a rendition of french christmas song ‘’L’enfant au tambour’’ in a duet with renown french singer Mario Pelchat for the Christmas Album "Mario Pelchat Noël avec Jireh Gospel choir", which sold over 100 000 units. Ms Domond also performed numerous times at the ‘’De Lima Cafe’’ as a featured artist. She also brought her creativity to the improvised jams at ‘’L’Absynthe’’ bar with the ‘’Pocket Paddy’’ Band.
The Young singer is currently focusing on solo projects as well as a tour in France with ‘’Jireh Gospel Choir’’

Loédie Domond est née le 23 mars 1986 à Montréal.
Compositeur-interprète dès son très jeune âge, elle mélange sa voix douce et remplie d'émotions au "rock" de son caractère et au "pop" de son coeur. Son père, musicien originaire d’Haïti, l’initie à une gamme de sonorités rythmées. C’est par la suite qu’elle s’intéresse à l’oeuvre d’artistes reconnus sur la scène internationale tels que Lara Fabian, Whitney Houston. Loédie fait ses preuves sur la scène musicale lorsqu'elle gagna le premier prix dans la catégorie d'interprétation au concours "secondaire en spectacle", en 2003, alors qu’elle interprète "Quand les hommes vivront d’amour". Par la suite, elle fut choisie dans la chorale "Jireh Gospel choir" en tant que soliste. Ce fut avec cette même chorale qu’elle voyagea en Suisse pour participer au festival de jazz de Montreux, en juillet 2004.
C’est en août 2005 qu'elle accompagna Carol Bernard en France pour un atelier gospel Europa Cantate pour la Fédération Européenne des jeunes chorales de France. À travers les années, son intérêt pour l’écriture grandit, son amour pour le rock, le jazz et le soul évolue, elle étudie Jill Scott. Elle fit plusieurs apparitions dans différents projets tels que la compilation "Es-tu prêt pour celui qui est vrai volume 2" de Collabo Records où elle composa "Est ce que tu feel" sous la direction de Pierre-Luc Janvier.
En novembre 2005, elle eu le privilège de faire un duo avec Mario Pelchat dans la célèbre chanson "l'enfant au tambour" pour l’album "Mario Pelchat Noël avec Jireh Gospel choir", vendu à plus de 100 000 exemplaires, et participa à la tournée du projet. Loédie fit des interprétations et des compositions au café de Lima comme artiste invitée, ainsi que des "jams" d'improvisation à "l'Absynthe" avec le groupe "Pocket Paddy".
Présentement, la chanteuse se concentre sur ses compositions et projets personnels. Sa volonté et sa passion pour la musique ne vous laissera pas sans frisson. Inspirée par la musique et par ses expériences de vie, Loédie sait que le meilleur est à venir...
