‘DJ Amma’, has now been on the DJ circuit for many years, DJing across the UK at clubs and festivals. A dedicated collector of vinyl, DJ Amma represents all that is eclectic with her varied musical tastes. This includes all forms of 60’s music, Ska, Jazz, Northern Soul, Deep Funk, Boogaloo, Afro Beat and Funk and 60’s and 70’s Soundtracks, Independent and Old Skool Hip Hop etc.

Sky TV programme producers took a keen interest in DJ Amma when they interviewed and followed her for the day in London as part of a fly on the wall documentary about female DJ’s for the programme Girls Just Want To Have Fun.
DJ Amma has also featured regularly in literature and websites connected with the Mod and Northern Soul Scene worldwide such as Scene 64 and New Untouchables fanzines, Mod Culture and The Uppers Organisation websites, Scootering , Keeping the Faith, Girl 60 and Zipper (Japanese Mags) to name but a few...
When not supporting her 60’s passions she can be found teaching young people to DJ.
