Hello. If you've noticed my screen name has changed, you're probably wondering why. I just came back from the best week of my life in West Virginia with my youth group from Wesley Memorial UMC. I feel changed. I know it's good, too. I feel stronger, I got to help people. I felt God move through our group. I felt Him move through me. Even though my whole life isn't fixed, I just know that God is still working in me, and I thank him for that. You'll also notice I put two new worship tracks on my music player. Those are two songs that especially touched my heart during this trying week. The water there tasted like poop (sulfur), but we drank it if we didn't want to die of thirst, and it was totally worth all of it. I sacrificed myself for other people and helped to do some roofing, and helped to make a shale driveway. There's no feeling like the feeling you get after helping someone like that. I could go on, but I can't describe how I feel right now. Talk to me on AIM if you wanna know more. My SN is guitjamer. I've just graduated Statesville High. I'm working. I'm getting placed in a job right now... and one last thing to say:
I regret nothing about the trip because I was glad to meet so many interesting and loving people and I'm again amazed to see how God works such wonders through people just like me... I don't know where God will take me now, but I'm trusting Him and I know I'll be okay.
On top of all this, I am now at Mitchell Community College!! I'm so excited to be there, and there seems like there will be a lot to learn there this semester.
