TMA_ONE is a sign, a semiotic construction, a simulacrum. That means that “he†is the result, the product of an interpretation process. As such “he†is nothing but a mere thought. A thought from the mind of a thinking entity - “his creator†so to say - and also a thought in the thinking entity which encounters “him†or one of “his†works. So, although “he†was born from the mind of one particular thinking entity, “he†needs the mind of another thinking entity - different from the first - to be able to live as a sign among all the other signs. In other words, “he†has to be “reborn†through the interpretation process of this other thinking entity.

EACH ONE TEACH ONE
Everybody has at least some knowledge about something. Every knowledge is important, every knowledge can be discussed. Knowledge has to be shared, for only shared knowledge can lead to more knowledge. To share knowledge is to teach. We have to teach each other. Everybody is the student of the other. Everybody is the teacher of the other. Knowledge is not a commodity. Knowledge is free.
EMBRACE YOUR LOVE
Acknowledge the feeling of love. Allow yourself to feel love. Unconditional love between equals. Embrace it.
FUEL YOUR RAGE
Everything is discussable. There is no single eternal truth. Nothing has to be accepted as such. Speak up. Speak out. Be angry when you have every right to be. No more calming by false promises should be accepted.
The main webspace of RAGING SEMEION (aka tma_one). It is all about being creative. But the word "creative", as it is used here, is not said and/or ment in an idealizing romantic sense. It is just the naked act of creating, of developing something out of the hassle with a certain or not so certain topic or issue. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no particular message in it. Although the creativity expresses itself in things like paintings, photography (fotofie), poetry etc., it is not ment to be conceived as art and the "thinking entity" behind all this does not consider itself to be an artist. The term "art" is just as nondescript as the term "God". Because of its abstractness and universality, so unclear that it can be used and filled with meaning, with anything, by anyone. Remarkably used in most cases to give a work an almost divine impetus. Thus, the term "art" is completely useless. The main focus is plain and simple on being playful.
It is just an incitement for discussion. Stemming out of the belief that it is necessary to talk to one another. To present ideas to one another. To spark exchange. In short: Each one teach one.
A small but nonetheless ambitious filmproject cooked up by Daniel Fenge, David Lange & Vladimir Mladenov. Current status: in production.
Plot/Summary:
A broke and frustrated artist (JC) finds himself thrown into a completely ridiculous situation. By chance he is suddenly in possession of the famous Van Gogh painting "A Pair of Shoes". This painting was stolen from a museum by four slightly dim smalltime crooks which where assigned for this job by a sect-like group of people, who – inspired by a deranged reading of what Martin Heidegger once wrote about this painting – believe that this painting has some kind of (divine) power. But because the handover (between the crooks and the sect) ends in turmoil over the right price, it is the coincidentally also present JC, who ends up having the picture. Knowing what kind of picture this is, he flees and is, of course, followed – chased rather – by the crooks and the sect-people. Eventually he is rescued by a group of young women (feminist activists and artists), who are well aware of the agenda and the intentions of the sect. For now JC and the picture are safe, but both are only at the beginning of a bizarre ride ...

CHINCH 33 - Are You Sorry?

Video for "Are You Sorry?" by Chinch 33, off of his turntablism-album "Escape from the Incubator", directed by Raging Semeion (aka tma-one).
Since all the tracks on this album are composed entirely from samples/scratches off of turntables, it seemed logical to me to mirror this in the video for this track. Chinch 33 worked with "found sounds" and so I worked with "found footage".
Many thanks go out to Chinch 33 for entrusting to me this challenging task to make a video for one of his tracks.
