It’s hard to produce something original in a city known for breaking the musical mold, but that’s exactly what Seattle’s Suburban Vermin has done with their crunchy punk sound. When grunge and rock have gone pop, and punk gone emo, Suburban Vermin are staying true to their punk sound with a piss and vinegar attitude that’s reminsicent of the old school punk greats. They achieves a nearly impossible feat in the music world: catchy without kitschy. With a sound calling to mind The Distillers, The Clash, Nofx and Social Distortion, Suburban Vermin's DIY spirit has been carrying them to new heights, for now going on three years. Suburban Vermin's line up currently consists of Amanda Gamino's angry vocals and godzilla guitars, Jason Vermin's frantic bass and Tor Trousdell's monster on speed drumming.
