Bored now.

About Me

If I ever wonder should I cut my hair, I just watch Elastica videos on YouTube and my mind's made up. (Thank you, Justine Frischmann.) Flash-dancer, matchmaker, organizer, Ebayer, record label owner . If there was a Useless Information Olympics, I'd take the gold.

My Interests

Sweetpea, mid-century marvels, ranch style homes, most any car from the 60s named after something to do with outer space (Comet, Futura, Galaxie 500), teardrop trailers, big rivers in far away places and BBQs. If you've got one, that awesome space in between your two front teeth, Q and A, songs with synthesizers, handclaps, tambourines and/or xylophones, calling in sick on rainy days, chewing gum, chicken plate at the Tasty Kabob, licorice (all but black), Vegas--roulette--the number 29, The Maidens, Moxie, Haagen Dazs Chocolate Chocolate Chip ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, Shag, talking about music, trying to understand the how, what, where, when and why of many things, flirts, adventurers, story-tellers, backgammon, bowling, darts, Galaga, baseball, Swedish Fish and super cool retro styles, fashion and furniture. And yes, I still love it when you wear boots.

I'd like to meet:

(and interview): firework makers. And, Alyson Hannigan. Who, when you think about it, is her own maker of fireworks...

Movies:

Little Children, Casino Royale (Daniel Craig totally came through), Grindhouse, All the President's Men, V For Vendetta, Good Night And Good Luck, The French Connection, Sin City, Finding Neverland, Pulp Fiction, Ocean's 11, Heavenly Creatures, Showgirls (a pure and unintentional work of comedic art), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars episodes III IV V and VI, Clueless, Battlestar Galactica, Barbarella, Bound, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Barefoot in the Park, L.A. Confidential, Charlie's Angels and The Godfather I and II.
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls -- a supremely whacked out and uhm... unique movie that must be experienced to be fully understood. And by understood I mean quotes like this: "This is my happening and it freaks me out!" Basically the all-girl band, The Kelly Affair, get up and move to LA during the way swingin' 60s where they meet the Shakespeare speaking, self-proclaimed teen tycoon and band manager, Z Man Barzel, who dubs them, The Carrie Nation. Soon the trio find themselves and the rest of this far out clan indulging in lust, weed, pills, booze and polyester fashion. Jesus, I love this movie. Exceedingly quotable.
