"Born on April 2006, HALFMAST is a project of four musicians from two different bands after they disbanded.Rani and PIMP came from MOAB, while Cha and Jorj were from HARSH.Led by Songwirters Rani and Cha, HALFMAST music was simple and catchy as PUNKROCK thus having EDGE by BOLDLY voicing out direct angst on POLITICAL and GENERAL ISSUES by means of RATIONAL POETRY.Armed with ideology and instruments,They begun playing in different gigs in METRO MANILA and certain VENUES in LUZON and released An independent Live album "PARANAQUE STANDOFF".The Group was joined by former HARSH guitarist Popoi Vega on JUNE 2007 but left soon enough for NUJ ANSUS to take his place on JUNE 2008.
