I'm in the home stretch of the creative writing program at USC....when I'm done, I hope to land a job at a magazine, writing, editing, I don't care as long as it makes me feel like I'm not really working. In a perfect world, I would be a freelance writer and write travel stories and restaurant reviews; I read to learn from other writer's mistakes and successes. I'm big on magazines and reading the Times online. I'm a certifiable foodie, I'm always up for trying new things and being spontaneous(but doesn't everyone say that?). I would eat breakfast in bed every morning if I had a TV in my bedroom (I'm a sucker for the Today show, I know, I know...) but I listen to NPR when I'm in the car, unless I'm on my way to the gym, and then its punk rock, but at home its classical or Norah Jones or the "hits" station on cable because I can't be bothered to download my own music. I am adamant about recycling; you should be too. I love getting out of LA for the weekend or longer. You don't have to convince me to hop on a plane to Asia or Europe; the best time of my life (so far) was spent traveling through France, staying in no-star hotels and getting a dose of the culture. French wine/French food/French anything makes me happy, so does dancing, cooking, going to museums, and meeting people who actually call back. Flakiness bugs me; creativity turns me on.
