Big Screen Hero

About Me

"The Partridge Family smoke crack and go hardcore. Light hearted and silly. I'm sure they could end up on a soundtrack for some reality show." - Doug Cash
"THIS is the kind of music I want to listen to, coming from a youth NOT spent navel gazing at the meaning of life, merely living it as best they can." - Steve Gilmore
Big Screen Hero is presently a young power pop band led by the creative musings of their lead vocalist/rhythm guitar player, Tyler Esposito. Clever lyrics blaze through catchy melodies and moving hooks in their debut material. Big Screen Hero has an exciting, raw and edgy sound with a pop-oriented twist. Their songs evoke commentary on the human condition, avoiding the typical clichéd subject matter of “girl trouble” from so many other young bands. The band's compositions seem to come from individuals well beyond their age, and one wonders how they are able to perceive the harsh and sometimes painful emotional realities of love and life as fresh as they do. The music takes atypical harmonic twists and turns that are exciting, beautiful and rash all at the same time.
