Influences: The Motherhive Syndicate is an original band of gangsters from Madison, WI. Blending a very unique blend of aggressive rock, sleaze, prog, jazz, metal, folk, groove and funk melodies with intelligent lyrics to challenge the mind and move the soul. Comprised of members from other notable Madison area rock bands, including: Rapscallion, Flat Atom, Chemical Smile and El Donk.Listen and decide for yourself. We pride ourselves on being eclectic and different than most bands playing out right now. it's our niche and we will exploit it ha ha!!We dig music that grooves, has soul and a load of melody. Some of our influences include:
Gov’t Mule, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Incubus, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Soundgarden, Janes Addiction, Primus, Blind Melon, Tool, Tom Waits, Faith No More, Dream Theater, Frank Zappa, Emerson Lake & Palmer, and the Reverend Horton Heat, to name a few.
