Wild Oats opened and was welcomed with great enthusiasm from the Louisville community on January 29, 2003. Serving as a full-service natural & organic food store for the greater Louisville area, our 26,000 square foot facility accommodates a vast selection of natural and organic products. We carry over 200 organic produce items daily, the widest selection of Fair Trade food items and coffee, environmentally-friendly body care items and cleaners, and natural meats and dairy. Stop by and visit our organic juice and java bar, our worldly cheese department and enjoy lunch or dinner from the deli in our spacious café.
Committed to the Community
We gratefully give back to our community and the environment by donating food and funds to non-profit organizations and community events. We are currently partnered with three local food banks, Dare to Care, Kentucky Harvest, and Little Sisters of the Poor. Recent recipient organizations of the 5% Day and our Wooden Nickel Program include: The Luci Center - A Therapeutic Riding Center, The Coalition for the Homeless, The Louisville Nature Center, Brightside and The Dream Factory.
Wild Oats Louisville is also the location for regular monthly classes on healthy cooking, Vegan cooking and free classes on alternative medicine, health and meditation classes and more! Stop by the store for a calendar or check out the calendar online.
