I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

I really dislike trying to label myself, so instead of that, here's what I like to get up to. I like music; born into it, played professionally for six years in metal, rock and roots-fusion (usually blues, reggae, sleazy rock) and though I'm not currently playing with a band - the ego battles are a complete turn-off - I still enjoy my guitar. I like literature; ever since I was a boy I was spellbound with storytelling and poetry. I have since come to be quite good at it myself, if the Diploma and Masters mean anything. I like to run D&D games with friends. I like film. I like whiskey. I like women. I liked being able to go out on a summer evening and enjoy the nightlife, totally safe in the knowledge that I was surrounded by rational, peace-minded people who were also just out for a bit of fun. I miss that. I don't like to talk much about myself, as you can see, so shout me a whiskey and I'll listen to you all night long. Cheers

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Well-read, self-educated people who know what they want, know what they're doing but also know how to lay back. People who don't conform to the establishment and don't ask me to conform to them. People who understand we're all human and have compassion for that.I value variety, experience, and learning from others. I'd like to be travelling again one day, soaking up the cultures of music, art, history and myth. The people I tend to meet along the way are usually interesting and diverse, which I like. To visit places and people from where my favourite music or fondest myth is alive in the very air.<

Cosmic Storytellers

There are people in the world who see science and atheism and think "how cold and empty." They think that because they are looking for a security blanket theory to find their comfort and snuggles. Som...

De-Fanging Religion

Imagine the influence of religion has been removed from all aspects of Human Rights and Foreign Relations policies, which is then restored to a secularist, humanist model. In this world, Religion will...

President Obama: hope for America is hope for the World.

It's about time. Finally, someone with the guts and the veracity to stand up and fix the situation America has put itself (and us all) into over the last eight years. Will it last? Hard to say: as h...
