~What up to the Myspace World! First of all I have to give props to Tom for making all this possible. Myspace is a great way to express yourself, keep in touch with loved ones and catch up with those that you haven't talked to in years! Most importantly, it is a great way to proclaim The Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who need to hear it most!~
I am a 31 year old native of Detroit,Michigan now residing in the Calhoun, Georgia. My life was one crazy experience after another. I began my life of drugs, alcohol, violence and crime at a young age. The lifestyle I was living eventually put me in prison for all of my 20's. I missed out on so much.~
While I was in prison I made a decision to trust in God with all my heart, to turn my life around. I started reading and studying the Bible a lot in there. He revealed so many things to me. One scripture that I really held on to till this day is one that gives anybody some hope. That scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, which says; For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to PROSPER you not to harm you, plans to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE. I began to realize as I read the Bible in there that God was actually the author of my life, If I would just trust in HIM and walk in His Word, my life would turn around. The fact is when I did everything my way it only led to consequences and repercussions. I now know that this was not the life that God had promised me.~So because I put my trust in Him, the blessings have poured out from Heaven over me. You see in prison there is something you really miss out on that hurts so bad, I would not wish it on anybody. This one thing only comes from God too. You miss out on Love. The love of a wife, mother, brother, son, daughter, etc. So because I missed out for so long, I had so much to give by the time I was released. God has opened so many doors for me since my release. He has brought me to Georgia and put great people in my life.~He brought me to my soulmate Amy, who I love with all my heart. She is awesome and truly my gift from Him. Our Son Isaiah Sharif was born 9/18/2008. He is so precious!~I also have two other beautiful children, Samira and Jacob, who I love very much. I believe God will reunite us soon.~ I can't wait to meet you!
He has also put many children in my life that just love me so much and I love them all too. I know God is using me in all their lives to keep them from going down the path I once chose. I will be obedient to God and allow Him to use me however He wants!~I thank God for my mother, when I was at my lowest point, she never gave up on me. She was a perfect example of God's uncoditional love in my life. Thank you so much Mama for all those nights you sat up crying and praying for me. Your prayers were answered! I also want to thank you for my brother Omar! You are appreciated!~All I can say to all of you is this, if your life is not where you want it to be or you feel like giving up, that's when you need to start looking up. Look where God has brought me from. I've been in the darkest places in life. So many people from my past never thought I would amount to anything or even thought I was dead because of my lifestyle.
