I am a sucker for sweets and, believe it or not, I eat ice cream by the half gallons. My personal favorite is Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie! I truly am a Starbucks junkie, the Java Chip Frappuccino is so good! One of the best stress relievers I found is running--that is the most productive and healthiest lifestyle anyone could have ever imagined. It takes away plenty of frustrations and it just makes you feel so good about yourself! I take advantage of every moment spent with friends, family, and dogs--I LOVE my Jack Russell's! I love to learn and research about everything that is random and necessary. I started to write a book; it's a collection of poetry that is still a work in progress.
Anyone and everyone who is willing to have an open-minded discussion about anything and everything...so regale me!
I have such an appreciation for music that I enjoy all styles from all eras: The Killers, Coldplay, Hoobastank, System of a Down, The Bee Gees, The Beatles, Elliott Smith, Nightmare of You, The Fratellis, Bread, Jason Mraz, STARS, Rilo Kiley, George Harrison, The Shins, Madeleine Peyroux, The Boy Least Likely To, Bell X1, The Thrills, The 88, Mika, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jack Johnson, Janis Ian, Iron & Wine, Zero 7, Phoenix, Arcade Fire, Death Cab for Cutie, SPOON, Weezer, Postal Service, Elton John, Enya, The Strokes, Feist, Roberta Flack, The Secret Garden, Michael Buble, Eric Clapton, Billie Holiday, Ray Charles, Fall Out Boy, Dido, Skye, Gary Allan, Keane, Lauryn Hill, Roy Orbison, Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines, Nora Jones, MUSE, Howie Day, Train, Under the Influence of Giants, Josh Groban, H.I.M., The Flaming Lips, My Chemical Romance, Queen, Radiohead, Sarah McLachlan, Damien Rice...
I wouldn't consider myself a movie buff, though I've been told I can be very hypocritical, but I definitely take pleasure in watching movies, particularly Horror/Sci-Fi. I have an open-mind for all genres. There are so many good movies out there: Aliens, The Matrix Trilogy, Creep Show I and II, Event Horizon, Underworld, 28 Days Later, The Verdict (Paul Newman--one of his greatest), Crash, Vanilla Sky, Minority Report, Schindler's List, Little Miss Sunshine, Requiem for a Dream, Coming To America, The Boondock Saints, Reservoir Dogs, The Big Lobowski, 50 First Dates, The Lake House, Beetlejuice, Bigfish, Mirrormask, Blazing Saddles (hilarious), Meet The Parents, RENT, Tommy Boy, My Dog Skip, The Birdcage, Hotel Rwanda, Disney's Lady and the Tramp, Ultraviolet, Donnie Darko, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, High Tension, FEAST, The Shawshank Redemption, Pan's Labrynth...
HEROES, The Discovery Health Channel, House, Smallville, Nip/Tuck, The Ren and Stimpy Show, Family Guy, Futurama, Disney's Ducktales, 80's TMNT...
Dean Koontz's Dragon Tears is really warped--he uses the right words to easily allow his readers to capture the scene as if they're there, which takes no effort whatsoever! His strong descriptions are really hard and very catching that this book becomes such a page turner with so much suspense and intensity that would even keep a nonreader very interested and committed. Dan Brown's The Davinci Code, Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, Robert Munsche's Love You Forever, Jon Scieszka's The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales, Khalil Gibran's The Prophet, Dean Koontz's Velocity, Fraknestein, The Taking, Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet In Heaven, For One More Day and The Bible...
My parents--they have been there for me since the beginning, and of course, the higher power--GOD.
