DJ VALDEMAR

Expanding his musical talents for over ten years, DJ Valdemar is a relative newcomer to the vibrant South Beach music scene. He began his chosen career as a teenager where he quickly made a name for himself. It was in Mexico City's premier nightspot "Medusas' where DJ Valdemar made a name for himself. Although only 18 and barely out of Mexico's famed DJ School, where he cultivated his skills (like spinning four turntables simultaneously), Valdemar was given a residency. Popularity among the capitol's club kids was not enough for him. He took his hard earned salary from the previous two years and packed up to pursue his dream in trendy South Beach.His first gig came courtesy of South Beach's BED Night Club, where he was given the pleasure of being their resident DJ. Valdemar is proud to say that since that since then he has worked with many prominent promoters including Michael Tronn, Michael Cappone and Nicola.Valdemar continued his South Beach experience spinning in several hot spots including Kiss Cafe©, B.E.D, Mynt, Nocturnal, Twilo, Bang Music Festival, Karu & Y and Guest House New York City. This was where he befriended his musical idol, DJ Danny Tenaglia. Both Danny and Valdemar continued their friendship. Danny then extended an invitation for Valdemar to open for him at New York City's famous Vinyl Nightclub, as well as two additional collaborations, 1st New Year's Eve (2004-2005) at Mexico City's Continental Nightclub and 2nd during the 2005 Winter Music Conference to spin at Downtown Miami's Club Envy. Valdemar's appeared at premier events such as Bang Music Festival, along with 60 other notable DJ's in Downtown Miami's Bicentennial Park.Valdemar's style can be described best as a combination of House, Tribal and progressive House. He enjoys layering the pulsating rhythms as he spins throughout the night in slow incrementing cascades. His predominately South Beach lifestyle is clearly celebrated in his musical choices. You are bound to hear throbbing instrumental tracks through the course of the night interlaced with minimally vocal tracks that may include playful adult content.
