The members of Deliverance Inc. band gathered for the first time during the spring of 2006 as a Smak (one of the greatest ex-Yugoslavian r..n..r bands ever) cover band. Throughout a numerous amount of gigs until the winter of 2006 they realized that their work can evolve to something more. Being pretty experienced musicians (Najda - ex Smak vocalist, Boza – the drummer of the goth metal band Diluvium and Misa – the bass player of the band Novembar) they had no problem in quickly finding the way how to continue their cooperation and expend it to a higher level. Somewhere along the line they started to write their own material which was later often described as a mixture of heavy riffs combined with melodic style of singing.
This project or bend has been tested at several gigs so far, and the biggest gig was when they played as an opening act for The Cult (Belgrade, June 2007) in front of 4000 people. Pleased with a fantastic reaction of the audience, the band decided to go further and make a record. The recording of their debut, full length cd is scheduled for January 2008.Daire - Smak cover 2006
