On October the 8th 2005 a band is born. Three boys play oldschool blues of a previous generation. On bass, guitar and drums they mix modern tunes with the blues.
A new bass player and pianist were recruited to make the music even better but a essential part was missing: the vocals. Through the internet Future Melody was put in contact with a singer in Arnhem. During the first rehearsal together it became clear that both musically and personally it clicked between the singer and the band.
Future Melody's musicians all have a different perspective to music and they all have their unique skills. Rock, blues, funk, pop and soul are mixed to produce Future Melody's own sound. The band started of with playing covers of Jimi Hendrix, Bill Withers, Jamiroquai, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Eric Clapton. But today the main goal is to use all those influences to make new songs. In March 2007 Future Melody's first recording became a fact.
In april 2008 the band recorded a new album with 8 tracks in The Hague: Blues, sweater and tears. This will come out at the end of may.
