About Me

Well obviously my myspace page is about me, which of course means that Elvis Presley is a part of me. This is true in many ways, some of which other's will never understand. But that's okay, because I've come to realize that I don't need anyone to "understand" anything about me. I used to think I had to prove my worth when it came to being an Elvis fan. But again, I now realize that that too is ridiculous. To think for one moment that I need to post blogs, comments, photos, reviews etc., about Elvis to prove that he's as important to me as ever is just stupid. I really don't even need to make a myspace page in dedication to him, JUST to prove anything. I do this, as I do anything regarding Elvis Presley, out of the undying respect I have for him.

It's okay if you still don't get it. Maybe you were never meant to. :)
"Elvis, I'm forever in your debt. Without ever really knowing me, you've changed my life, all for the better. I only pray that one day, when I too am ready to leave this world, that I may meet you in heaven and tell you in person."
"Always On My Mind"

My Blog

"Elvis... You Are Always On My Mind" (an honest and personal message)

My time to be personal is short. But it’s times like these that I take for granted, for when it comes to being personal and honest with myself, I find excuses to not express myself. And by doing...

"Let Me Be There" (sometimes the answer is only an Elvis song away)

I'd like to express my feelings as they stand right now, this day, January 21, 2008. It's something I've wanted to express for a long time, but I never felt I could truly explain exactly how I felt. I...

"Danny Boy" (a story of a mother’s love for her son)

At the request of a friend a few years ago, I was asked to review Elvis's song "Danny Boy". I must confess, when it was asked that I review this song I had to admit I'd never actually h...

"Can’t Help Falling In Love With You" (the feeling’s mutual)

First of all, before I begin another review of one of Elvis's songs, I must admit, "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" was never one of my favorites until only a few years ago. :o Why? Well the be...

"All Shook Up" (that pretty much says it all)

The next song I wish to review, continues the story of our "Modern Day Captain Marvel", as he appears on stage, on an afternoon in in the summer (June, 10, 1972, to be exact), in Madison Square Garde...

"Can’t Stop Loving You" (feelings that work both ways)

The next song I would like to review is another one of those "works both ways" songs. Since, as you all know, I tend to speak of songs in semi-unusual ways. Well let me explain. As many of you know, ...

"A Little Less Conversation" (keeping it exciting in the 21st Century)

I knew the day would come and I'd be inspiried to write a review of an Elvis song that, in it's own unique way, gave me the little "push" I needed to move head on into the music and magic that is Elvi...

"Burning Love" (an analogy of a classic song)

Hello, everyone. Here's another personal review of mine regarding Elvis's trademark song "Burning Love".In many ways, this song describes Elvis. In many ways it's a kind of acknowledgment to his fans...

"If I Can Dream" (paying my respects to The King)

The next song I'd like to review is a song that I feel, at it's time, really showed how emotion, performance and great lyrics can really impact an audience. That song is "If I Can Dream" from the "'68...

"Unchained Melody" (30 years later)

Loneliness.Sadness.Emptiness.These three words symbolize so much about having so little. So little love. Why does one feel this way? What makes a man or woman feel as if their life is meaningless? What...
