Stocksbridge is a town within the great city that is Sheffield. It isn't all that big but it rather an amazing place to be! Come visit stocksbridge to see all the breathtaking sites. For example, Javs shop, the clock tower, the steel works and many many more!
We have a well known quality butchers, claimed to be the best in Sheffield "John Crawshaws"
It is rather close to bansley but us Stocksbridge folk try not to mingle with the dingle. However, there is the odd renegade kes who tries to make thier way over the border!
We also share a boundry with Deepcar, wich also is a nice place to be. It has a few quaint little pubs and is home to the stubbin roundabout! amazing!
However, Stocksbridge has a darker side. "The Monks Bridge" a haunted bridge that crosses the bypass. it is rumored that a monk wanders the bypass and has been spotted by several motorists, is it a coincidence that these motorists crashed and blamed it on the monk or was it that they genuinly shit them self and lost controll of thier vehicle? whos knows, you decide!
