About Me

Hello all, some links:
- My website
- Artforum Ad Project (just $1.50, and it's art!)
- More more more music
- Texas Firehouse, the gallery/venue I help run
- The always excellent Department of Safety
- Harvestworks (NYC) where I am currently a Van Lier Fellow
- And more shameless promotion -- I build and sell contact mics at ContactMics.com

The first three songs (and more to come shortly) are a part of an album I'm recording while an artist-in-residence at the Department of Safety. These are very short excerpts of longer, looped guitar improvisations (most about 15 minutes long).
The last song is from my "Music Reclamation Project" - an all-live remix of the worst pop songs ever written, performed with the original vinyl releases and signal processing equipment. Recently premiered at Hogar Collection Gallery and Lemurplex , both in Brooklyn, New York.

Sounds Like: Poly-layered guitar loops.
Music derived from plants.
Ambient audio installations,
experimental field recording.
Noise cancelling noise.
Thicker than soil,
distortion to the point of melody.

You know, the usual Top 40 stuff.

Record Label: No label, but if you have one....
