Hate For State

.. .. Hate For State is a Salinas,California based punk,thrash power trio.Born at the turn of the millenium HFS began playing local shows before all members were 21. They recorded their first 6 song demo out of their practice pad. The next recording was done at Stabin Cabin Productions in Prunedale. This self titled recording had much better sound quality than its previous recording. In the winter of 2004,they began work on their next CD called Padded Room,which was released early 2005 just before Sean (drummer) moved to Hawaii. Shortly after Brandon joined the band they scheduled time with Aaron from Retribution to bring his mobile recording studio and recorded their 3 song demo called Moving On. Hate For State has been showcased live on AMP TV ch. 24 on 2 occasions. They have done interviews on the 103.9 Santa Cruz X radio, and have had several articles written on them in the Coast Monterey Weekly, The 831, and in Your Music Magazine. They have also taken part in the Monterey Rock and Art Festival 3 years in a row, playing on the main stage in 2005. They have also played at the Music Mayhem Festival in Soledad, and at "The End 05" movie premier. Over the years they have played hundreds of shows and parties across California and Nevada, and are planning tours for this winter to go to Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. They are also planning tours for next summer to go north towards Oregon, Washington, and maybe Canada.
