In the summer of 1997 Mark introduced school friend Vuthy Long, to soccer friend Eric Pasi. The goal was to play a song for a talent show at the USA cup; a soccer tournament that Mark and Eric were participating in. Fortunately, Vuthy and Eric taught Mark guitar/Bass and the three continued to play beyond the talent show in hopes of forming an "official" band. The vision came true about a year later when Connor agreed to play drums with the group. Silo made their name by playing with the super no stars at local clubs and at playing at various events at Harding high school. The band fell apart shortly after college started....but good news...Silo will be having a reunion show in late summer/early fall. They are about to start practicing so in the meantime enjoy some of the oldies but goodies!
