Kwame Michael Remy is a native of Brooklyn New York and started singing at a young age in church. His Gospel, Jazz & Soul roots has lead him to span a career in Music & the Performing Arts. As a vocalist Kwame has performed all over the world sharing the stage with artist such as The Sisters of Glory(Ce Ce Peniston, Diane Reeves, Thelma Houston,Phoebe Snow,Lois Walden and Albertina Walker) The Winan's, Mary J. Blige, Linda Eder, Andrea Bocelli, Rev. Shirley Ceaser, Gloria Gaynor and a host of others. As a Performing Artist he appeared in national and international productions of Musicals such as Smokey Joe's Cafe, Jesus Christ Superstar, Dreamgirls and Five Guys Named Moe to name a few. Kwame appeared in The London/ UK Production of Solid Gold Soul & Saturday Night At The Movies II in Holland. He was a featured Vocalist in the Concerto Di Natale Concert At The Vatican and can be heard on the Concert recording on Columbia Records. Kwame has headlined on major cruise lines suchs as Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
As a Recording Artist/songwriter Kwame Paired up with Munchen's DJ Cambis & Freakquence Lab and wrote & recorded Love Will Find A Way that is currently available on White Lotus Club Records. Love Will Find A Way is dedicated to the memory of the late great House Diva Sabrynaah Pope. Kwame also teamed up with Frankfurt's Divided Souls and have composed some soulful house hits such as Feels Like Heaven and the Upcoming Release: I Can Feel. His musical influences include the Amazing Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Prince ,Rachelle Farrelle ,Darryl Coely & Donny Hathaway to name a few.
