Dueto influenciado por las regiones donde se cultiven modalidades del son, sin menoscabo de otros géneros y estilos, dándole mayor cause a su trabajo mediante la trova, el son y la música popular mexicana. Integrado en 1996. Fueron becarios del CONACULTA por tres ocasiones. Han grabado cinco discos compactos, uno de música propia, mediante las posibilidades rÃtmicas y sonoras del son cubano y el canto nuevo; uno de poemas de escritores michoacanos musicalizados por el dueto; otro con canciones de música popular michoacana y mexicana; otro con el Maestro JoaquÃn Pantoja, de música popular mexicana; y el quinto cd, de mujeres compositoras latinoamericanas del siglo XX. Se han presentado con artistas como Silvia Abalos, Arturo Castro, VÃctor Mendoza, Alejandro Filio, JoaquÃn Pantoja y Rafael Mendoza. Son integrantes del Colectivo ArtÃstico Morelia, A. C., que ganó el Premio Nacional de Fomento a la Lectura 2002.

They are a duet with a great influency from regions where the “son†is created without forgetting other styles and rhytms, they have worked with “trovaâ€, “son†and traditional mexican music. They began to perform together in 1996, they got scholarships from CONACULTA three times, and have recorded five compact discs, one with their original themes exploring the sounds and possibilities of the cuban son and the “canto nuevoâ€; the second one was with poems of writers from Michoacán with music from this duet; the third one with traditional music from Michoacán and México, the four cd was recorded with the guitarist JoaquÃn Pantoja, with popular mexican music, and the last one with music from female composers from Latin America in the XX century. They have performed with different artist as Silvia Abalos, Arturo Castro, VÃctor Mendoza, Alejandro Filio, JoaquÃn Pantoja and Rafael Mendoza. They are part of Colectivo ArtÃstico Morelia, A. C., that won the national prize Premio Nacional de Fomento a la Lectura 2002.
