About Me
Dj Peter Zen born in Thessaloniki/Greece in 1974.
As he started growing up, he realized that he had a great passion,
for music ..but never got seriously involved with it,until he got to know the club scene of Thessaloniki in the beginning of 90's.
Being almost every weekend at clubs like Splendid,Funky & Space Mobil,Coco's,Troll, etc..and attending events as Brainstorm,he felt a special attraction to electronic music.
So after a couple of years,that he was collecting music
and practicing on vinyl mixing,he officially started his career as D.j Petros
in 1995 at Super FM 108.
An independent and underground radio station,based in Thessaloniki,
which played a major role in the dance scene
of the northern part of Greece,during the second half of the 90's,
and was broadcasting 24/7
techno,trance,progressive,dnb,house,chill out and alternative music.It was the same time,that Psychedelic Trance
begun to spread across Europe...and as he was already involved
with dance music like,
Techno,Trance,Detroit and Chicago House,he felt the difference of
this unique music genre,and pretty soon his collection was filled with
lots of Dat tapes,from friends who were in contact with travelers from Goa and
the very first releases of Blue Room,Dragonfly,T.I.P,,Trust In Trance,Matsuri,Flying Rhino,Spirit Zone etc..
At the same time,he was lucky enough to be a member of the legendary
Acid Psychedelic crew, and had the chance to listen to
artists as Elysium,Joti Shidu,Dominic,Stavros,John the ohm,Jason Lake,
Etnica Avi Nissim,Mike Mac'Guire,Edi Miss, etc..
As the radio show started having massive attendance,
and being respected for the good selection of music,
he started playing at parties and clubs,
with great success,and in 1997 he went to play for the first time
outside of Greece at F.y.r.o.m. - Skopje.. as the main guest,
at one of the first parties of Trance Experience team.That was an unforgettable experience
which lead him to decide that he wanted to be a professional djSince then he played at numerous parties,festivals,clubs,
and cafe bars inside and out of Greece.
Now days, this beautiful journey,after one year of sound engineering studies..@ i.e.k Xini, includes music production too..
yet on amateur level..Apart from his own efforts to create quality music either for the dance floor
or home listening, he is also a member of the project - Sizo Device -
a project co-founded with George Valoumas in 2006.Some highlights from his career until now:1995 - 2003 approximately 5 years at super Fm 108.1996 - 1997 ( summer ) resident at Escape club @ Hersonissos Creta1997 - 2001 several parties at Skopje,1997 - 1998 voted the best psy-trance dj and radio producer,

Freq,Antix,Emok,Mapusa Mapusa and many others...And organized events @ Thermaikos Cafe Bar
