About Me

I'm an artist and illustrator. I have my BFA in graphic design and I'm working towards a masters' degree (first, but hopefully not last) in Art History. I might look into something terminal after that (degree-wise, not disease-wise).I read a lot and work at a bookstore. This, to many people, is just cool. I love my discount. I spend too much.I collect records and CDs. It's just one of those things.I'm currently creating a graphic novel. I'm keeping a workblog about that project here:http://ryomaproject.blogspot.com

My Interests

Books, music, comics, drawing, machinery designed to change the overall intent of life.

I'd like to meet:

Conversationalists, readers, ontologists, poets, magi, and people who make it through the day-to-day with at least some mark of dignity and panache. If I don't know you and you want to add me as a friend, message me first. I have no interest in having friends on here I don't know or don't talk to.If you're a band, feel free to add. I'll at least look at your profile, but if it looks like you paid almost no attention to my listed bands and other info (for example, if you're a death metal band that only plays shows in the area of california) I'll probably shoot you down.Don't contact me with any offers such as having my profile get "pimped." I've had this thing for a year now and it should be fairly obvious that I have no interest in "pimping" it. KTHX

Plato

So, spur of the moment, I grab my copy of Great Dialogues of Plato, run to Waffle House, and read the first book of Republic. All things considered, it's a great enough read. The early Socratic dialo...
