Myspace Layouts My name is Sunkawakan. I am a Lakota boy, Hunkpapa & Oglala. I also have Lyme Disease. I contracted it in utero from my mommy. She got so sick from a tick bite. Look at how tiny the ticks are...so small...My mom was bitten by 2 ticks, 2 separate bites! One as a child & one as an adult. The 2nd tick in bite 1996, put her over the edge with illness. But no one knew what was wrong with her! The doctor told her it was ring worm. Many years, went by and my mommy got much sicker. She was finally diagnosed with MS but she knew it was not & refused to take any medication for this condition. You don't have a fever for many years, if you have MS. Among many, many other symptoms, doctors tried was just in my mommy's head! ********************************************************* None of the doctors believed something was really wrong with her. She has really suffered alot. Because doctor after doctor missed my mom's serious illness so long, it was passed on to me through her womb. I have been very sick ever since birth! ********************************************************* Against, no one would believe my mommy that something was really wrong with me! They refused to test me for Lyme Disease even knowing my mother had it. Instead at almost 3, I was referred to the psychiatrist for Lithium for Bipolar. And my mommy was told to read, "The raging child." ********************************************************* The doctors were again, horrible & verbally abusive to my mommy when she told anyone there was something really wrong with both of us!She also could not get her disability SS approved either for over 4 1/2 years b/c the government said she was not really sick. After working 26 years, my mommy could not get what she paid into...My mommy has fought system after system to get us both the health care with need to save our lives! There were alot of very mean people, trying to stop her....but she did not give up! We finally got it! It took years!
