It all started with this little kid, singing around the house while being 6 years old.
His mom noticed that he loved to sing and that he showed interest in the electric piano that was standing in our living room. That's where she decided (together with dad) to put him on common musical education. Since his dad is a musician too, he could count on a big load of support. As a start he did a 3 years course and gratuaded cum laude (as the only boy in the class). During his 2nd year, he started to take keyboard lessons. He Did it for about 7 yrs and then decided keyboard wasn't exactly the thing He was looking for, so he started playing the piano. Now we're 9 years further and he' still making music.Arjan sang in a rockband for 2 years (Bad Rabbit (R.I.P.)) and after that he didn't do any band stuff for about 2 years.After a while He started a crossover-hip hop band called Eenheid with a couple of friends, back in 2004. It wasn't meant to last, so in 2008 they decided to pull the plug. It turned out that the formula wasn't good enough to keep them all motivated and going.So that leaves us with here and now.At the moment Arjan's vocal coaching a theatregroup as a side-job. He's also kinda busy with a project called Fonk-ache, where he plays the keys so I'ts not that he isn't doing anything.On top of it all he's continuously working on his solo-stuff, whenever the inspiration strikes him.As for the schooling:I've had about 4 years of vocal-schooling from Jeroen Manuhutu, keyboard-schooling from Peter Meijers, piano-schooling from Laura Sandee, Co Vergouwen, Harmen Fraanje and at the moment I'm getting my piano-schoolings from Fran Schreuder.
