DEFKON BAY AREA is a collective of turntablists and Mix DJ's from the Bay Area. The group originated at the illustrious school, San Francisco State University. DJ Zobe and Mark the DJ started DEFKON (was called something else. YO ZO what was it called again? ahahhaha. Um Mark we were Sucka Free Special Unit get it SFSU huh huh huh!) in attempts to gather other turntablists to be able to create an all turntablism group. But due to popular requests from people, we decided to start doing parties and events. In an attempt to find other djs we came across DJ CINNAMINH from San Jose and SLOW RED from san francisco. Together we make DEFKON BAY AREA.
