Black Deca is the musical relationship of two friends, Johnston Hunter & James Paquette. Hailing from their “metal†roots in southern Ontario, Black Deca is the musical struggle to capture the darkest, and purest of emotion.
Johnston and James have been in various southern Ontario metal bands and have gained much experience and insight into the human condition and ego, a seasoned perspective in writing quality music favoring quality over quantity, heart and content over glitz and glamor.
While we are currently are a studio project, we do strive for progress of our art form. We hope to take Black Deca to the next level, and once again set foot onto the stage and captivate people with something pure.
New material will be posted as it become available. I hope our music will speak for its self, and give you something you can enjoy as much as we do. Please feel free to comment / write / harrass / check back as often as we apprieciate your curious ears.
