About Me
Bareskin Productions began in a small loft near Marquette and Interstate 25 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Late afternoon recording sessions in record summer heat lead to the beginning of bare skin recordings in July of 2001.
Bareskin Productions began as an original music recordings company that specializes in Native American music blends and traditional recordings. Since conception Bareskin Productions has produced eight musical albums and seven short films. Bareskin Productions has produced original soundscapes and songs for various independent feature films and public access shows.
Musical Productions:
Rising Son LP. Written and produced by Corey Allison for Bareskin Productions. Contains ten tracks including, "Peace Rally", "Summer 2008", and "Time Will". Completed Summer 2008.
Let's Dance. Original Navajo traditional tracks by Shawna Becenti for Bareskin Productions. Contains eight tracks including, "Star Spangled Banner", "Grandparents Honor Song", and "Rooster Song". Completed Spring 2008.
Acoustic Only. Written and produced by Corey Allison for Bareskin Productions. Contains eleven acoustic tracks including, "Illusions Of Love", "Reflection", and "Concrete Jungle". Completed fall 2007.
EG White Album. Written and produced by Ecliptic Gruv for Bareskin Productions. Contains nine tracks including, "La Razafari", "Rule This World". and "Holy Land". Completed fall 2007.
5th WORLD Soundtrack. Produced by Bareskin Productions in association with Blackhorse films and PBR Streetgang, this album contains 21 original tracks by Corey Allison, Ecliptic Gruv, and Unofficial. The movie premier at the 2005 Sundance International Film and is currently making its way around the world via International film festivals. Completed January 2005.
Volume 02-Dub Experiment. Written and produced by Ecliptic Gruv. Contains seventeen original tracks, including the underground remixes to “Traveling Songâ€, “Color Of the Sunsetâ€, and “Street Geezer.†Completed July 2004.
Live Off Gold Street. Produced by Bareskin Productions and Five Star Entertainment, this album contains nine tracks, including the underground hit, “Reflection Of A Hate Crimeâ€, a song dedicated to all the families of the victims of brutal racially motivated hate assaults. Completed October 2003.
Volume 01-One Microphone. Recorded and produced by Ecliptic Gruv. Contains eleven tracks lyrics written by Corey Allison. Completed October 2003.

A project that first started off as a personal question answered with the media of video, it slowly developed into its current form which have been described as watery, tapestry, and intelligent. Four prophecies are giving a voice in 2004, based on research collected by Frank Waters, Peter Norbokov, and Raymond Locke, What Is Sacred?, explores the inner consciousness of modern Native America. Starring Deanna Allison [Edge of America] and Arcie Jeters Allison, an experimental short film about the theory of transport, written in Navajo history is our ability of exit worlds through “passageways†hidden in the canyons and sky, What Can I Do In A Day? attempts to transport your soul across the world, up for the challenge? Color Of The Sunset. This short was inspired by a questioned asked by my younger sister, Deanna. She asked, “When you die, what would you like to be?†I didn’t know what to say. So I asked the question back. She responds, “Just a color in the sunset.†Completed October 2003. RT: 04:04.
