Combining unhinged yet deft strums, punchy blues riffing, and a rhythm section that certainly isn't to be fucked with, the five-piece rattle through live shows with ceaseless abandon and undeniable soul. Spurred on by lyrics spiked with acerbic wit and pin-point observation, Artha Gunn will not hesitate to take a jab at whoever they feel deserves it, and not without a surprising knack for melody.
We're sick, we're agitated, and we're fucking bored of the piss-weak flood of empty, meaningless and unimportant garbage that has populated the British music scene in the later half of this confused decade- and there's no doubt that a whole load of people feel the same. Then again, there's probably not many bands that wont have said that on the myspace page already. Regardless of that, it's without doubt that seeing Artha Gunn play live will improve your life, markedly. So keep an eye on the corner and an ear to the ground, and if you get the chance to see the band live, you better fucking hope you don't miss it.
