Booking a show in New Orleans will help the local scene as well as supporting the metal scene as a whole. The talent of New Orleans musicians is tremendously significant and has helped define entire genres and sub-genres of music. The New Orleans extreme metal scene began in the early 80's and is still alive today. It may not be in the tourist brochures but this under belly of great music has left it's scar around the world. New Orleans has been the source of many bands with global followings such as active projects like Down, EyeHateGod, Crowbar, Goatwhore and Soilent Green as well as disbanded acts that have reached cult-like status in the world of underground metal such as Exhorder and Acid Bath. Let's work together to strengthen New Orleans, its local music scene and the entire metal community!
~We predominantly work with metal bands but also hard rock, hardcore, punk, etc. (see the "sounds like" section) In other words, please do not send messages if your band or group is pop, hip hop or country. We are not knowledgable in those genres and really cannot help.
